Nashville Opera and Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory come together for an unforgettable evening of music on the mountain.
Bring a picnic and your favorite beverages, gather with friends, and enjoy live performances from a mix of artists and musical genres under the stars at one of Nashville’s most distinctive settings.

VIP guests receive early access to the mountain beginning at 4:00 p.m., starting with a champagne toast as the sun sets.
Then, enjoy a private tour of the newly renovated Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory, including a visit to the telescope, before the concert begins.

Opera on the Mountain is among the first events held at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory following its recent renovations.
It’s a chance to experience this Nashville landmark in a new way, with live music filling the mountain as night falls and the stars come out overhead.
For VIP guests, it’s also an opportunity to experience the newly renovated Observatory through a private tour and telescope visit before the concert begins.
